As long as it's not as bad as last summer. Last summer was a bitch!

Last summer was a fricking breeze.

2011 was absolutely agony. In the month of August that yr in Houston, there was 1 day, 1 fricking day below 100 degrees. And If my memory serves me correctly it was like 98 or some shite.

As a bearded blue collar outdoor worker, I'd like to give a hearty hell no.

2011 was the worst. Austin pretty much entirely dried up and blew away. I drove to my parents' house out near Franklin and passed through Bastrop a couple of hours before the fire there. So I got to their place and the news of the Bastrop fire was on TV. Just then a big fire started on just the other side of the Navasota from their place. Fire on the TV, fire in real life outside the front door, a parched landscape I had just driven through... it was apocalyptic. 2011 was bad. We just got Lake Travis back to capacity now. 5 years later!

My yard died and it didn't matter how much water I put on it.

I don't mind the heat, just don't want a hurricane.

It's been a pretty mild spring... not looking forward to the heat. Hell I'm ready for my grass to die already, which also means we're solidly into another losing streak in football!
