Best time of the year

95-100 degrees, high humidity, awesome thunderstorms...best time of the year. You really can't beat summer.

I'll take the hot days as payment for getting the days long and bright. I can't stand the short days of winter. The older I get, the more short days bother me. I feel so much happier in the summer and get a lot more done.

I like the fall and spring the best but the last two years those have been a bust with all the rain. Looking forward to a hot dry summer where my weekends aren't constantly ruined with flooding rain.

2011 was absolutely agony. In the month of August that yr in Houston, there was 1 day, 1 fricking day below 100 degrees. And If my memory serves me correctly it was like 98 or some shite.

Yeah, it was miserable.
