Had a few extra pieces which I find odd.

Also, the front wheels aren't working like I think they should

Which piece(s) are you missing?
I had 2 left over axle caps (the ones you had to hammer on) & 1 screw.

I went down that road. Re-read the instructions. Counted all the pieces. It's all accounted for.
Only thing I can figure on the wheels is that since I was putting it together solo, hammering the axle caps on was quite difficult to keep everything balanced & I might not have hit them into the correct place. But I can't manage to fix it without making a ton of noise & waking the kids.
I'd go outside but it's been raining all night. Muggy as shite out there too.

Just finished putting presents and a Minnie Mouse motorized jeep in front of the tree. Just need my 3 yr old daughter to sleep until 8 or 9. Good night all...good morning.

Just finished 2 Vanities, 2 stools, and some other minor stuff. Now to get those 3 hours of sleep before they wake up.

Stressed over the Razor Dirt Bike. Tore the box open and the sumbitch was already assembled. Just had to pop the handlebars on and DONE!

This HAS to be why my parents did Christmas on Christmas Eve.
I just wonder who hid all the presents (like when I got my first bicycle)

I put a trampoline together yesterday for my son in what felt like a tropical rainforest with the heat, humidity and rain.

I put the same thing together a few days ago. That took me about 45 minutes to do. It was a lot more detailed than I would have thought. Not difficult, but time consuming. And damn, I would have given you my floorboard but I threw it away :(

Wrapping the damn things is enough of a challenge for me.
