Put together a kitchen for my 2 year old Wednesday night. Took me almost 5 hours. How hard would it be to provide detailed instructions with this shite instead of a hundred crappy illustrations.

I put the same thing together a few days ago. That took me about 45 minutes to do. It was a lot more detailed than I would have thought. Not difficult, but time consuming. And damn, I would have given you my floorboard but I threw it away :(

I was so excited for my little one to have this.

My kids are old enough now that we dont have many things left to assemble but I do remember that.

I spend about 5 hours one night in our back yard in the freezing rain putting a trampoline together. One of the worst nights of my life.

Yes. I put it together in the garage, I had to fight the urge to go in the house and punch my wife in the face for buying that particle board piece of shite.

Small trampoline this summer sucked because it was almost 100 degrees outside. Lil tykes car a few months ago was pretty easy. Playhouse with slides, and wagon by step one were a piece of cake, as was a radio flyer tricycle

I was telling my dad about this thread earlier and he said there were two funny times he can reflect on now.

One was when he hung a basketball goal on the garage that night. By 2am he realized he didn't have the right size socket and of course nothing is open. Had to call his best friend who came over and they finally had it up just before 6am. His buddy still rags him about it.

A few years later he built us a soccer goal from PVC. Thought he had a can of the glue in the garage, but didn't. So he half arse connected everything and left a "note from Santa" that he forgot to bring the glue on the sleigh or some shite.
