For the first time in a long time I am not up into the wee morning hours assembling something.

All I have to do is bring up a Razor go kart from the staging area in basement and I am done.

to hook XBox One. First time with an XBox. But apparently I see I need a Microsoft account. Then you have to set up a gamer name or what not and talk back to the thing for Kinect or whatever it is. Only after you let it update. Sounds time consuming and he might hear me. I'll just do it with him tomorrow so he can choose his own name or whatever else. How long is this gonna take?

Shouldn't take more than 30 mins or so provided the Microsoft network isn't having issues. Last year some dorks hacked them on Christmas and really messed it up nationwide

So glad my days of this are over. We do Christmas at my mom's and we've got 2 16 year olds and a 14 year old. We'd be up all night wrapping, assembling and arranging

Decided to just wrap everything and put it under the tree this year. No Santa and I am not the least bit sad about it

Mr 1999 just spent about 2.5 hours on this bad boy (hopefully kids will spend at least that long playing it- one of those toys that can be 5 months of enjoyment or 5 minutes of boredom). In the same time, I assembled and wrapped about 5-6 other gifts, filled stockings, wrote an elf letter, cut up the carrots like the reindeer ate them, got the house ready for tomorrow, and watched the Macauley Culkin uber video. Plus most of the bottle of wine.

My son left a letter to Santa with milk and cookies (on his own) asking for him to put together his Halo Megablok tank he's been working on for a few months that has some pieces missing and he can't finish it. So I just spent a couple of hours digging through old legos trying to find pieces to finish this thing. My wife gave me a bottle of my favorite whiskey earlier, so I'm lit and this gotdamn tank could look like Santa was smoking crack when he magically put it together.

I make my son build his own toys. This is the real world. Here he is putting the finishing touches on this bad boy.

Pio, I put the pink one just like that together tonight. Had a few extra pieces which I find odd.
Also, the front wheels aren't working like I think they should. I think those stupid axle cap pieces you have to hammer in (with someone holding the car for you-which my bitch arse wife wouldn't do) are the problem.
Why would a toy car company create a car a parent can't easily snap together?!?!?

Also put together the "Step 2" art easel station together. As well as blew up 2 TV chairs.

Loaded up the stockings & done.
