Wondered if I'd see him here. He kind of flies under the radar, but I remember watching his special circa 2008 and really loving it. This guy was always a good stand-up comedian and by that point he was just a master of the craft, with his perfect timing, impressions, etc.
Other than Dana, I'd pick Norm MacDonald, Ron White, and Steven Wright. Dave Chapelle and Rodney Dangerfield are equally valid number fours, but I really dig that absurd, deadpan stuff that Steven Wright does.

Only one from the new generation would be Greg Giraldo. You could see how smart he was in his roasts and he almost looked bothered to be on stage with the other roasters like Jeff Ross, Lisa Lampeneli and the other trash they put up there.
