Can someone explain what is supposed to happen if you eat meat during lent?

And what will happen when you don't eat meat during lent?

Thank you. I also find it more challenging for the b/c kids typically want to play, visit with friends, etc. Only speaking for my children, this is a greater sacrifice for them while also helping others.

One thing about the people in South Louisiana. They work hard.....and they play hard.

......and don't be such a judge of the practices of other peoples culture. Jesus the Christ choose a wedding reception to perform his first miracle - he turned water in those jugs into the best wine. Even the headwaiter was impressed with the vintage wine.

If your wedding receptions are anything like the ones I've been too over the years, there was always those who partook of the fruit of the vine in excess.

That must have been some really good wine.

The people of South Louisiana are the most wonderful, tolerant, and friendly people you will ever meet. They like a good laugh as much as they like their gumbo.

Be nice.

If they're just calling it "fish", then it's fried imported Chinese swaii that was raised in a sewage tank.

Just thought you should know, baw.

But yeah...I enjoy fried CATFISH dinners from the local Knights of Columbus.
