Some ignant people up in here. Zapps is a blast. 2.5 hour beer festivals for all-you-can-drink is par for the course. I and a few other TD posters will have beers at the homebrew tables. I'll be with Bicycle Brewclub. I'll have two beers, both under my bottomland name. Come say hi.

2.5 hrs is pretty lame, I'd probably hit it up though. I like the Brewgrass festival in Asheville, it usually goes 12-7.

Looked up your festival. Seems pretty cool.

We don't have bands and all kinds of food like yours. Its literally just drink beer for a few hours. Last year they cut it off at three hours. Plenty enough time imo.

No doubt, in Tampa we go for 5-6 hours or until the riot breaks out..

If it were longer more people would go, tard. I've been to beer fest's in a few cities and most last a lot longer than 2.5 hrs. Hell, if you are there pimping your brand wouldn't you want more exposure?

What kinda light weight drinks several 4 oz'ers and crawls after about 2 hours anyway.

It's sold out. They're not looking for tight wads that act like $35 is a deal breaker.

If there are cold fresh beers that I've never had before, those samples will equate to about 4 or 5 beers / hour.

You're projecting your cheap self onto others. Longer means they could sell more tickets, generating more revenue and exposing more folks to the products out there. Business, how does that work?

From what I gather the amount of tickets capped because there isn't enough room for more people. They didnt have a problem selling their max.

The center stands to make about 70k in 2hrs.

It's a charity event not a business dumbass. The businesses donate their beer and only bring so much. They want you to sample their beers, not sit around getting shitfaced for 7 hours on all you can drink corona with a lime...
