$50,000? Really? Trying for a quick buck. If she isn't harmed by any disease or ailment from the rat then offer her something realistic like $250 with an apology and move on. Ultimately Chick-Fil-A did serve the bun with the rat in it but they didn't produce the bun. Life isn't perfect so don't cater to the ambulance chasing attorneys who hype this stuff up. In the end WE all pay for these excessive lawsuits. And, for anyone who feels like "Go get all you can get they're a big company" just remember that it's not a lottery. Real damages may warrant a real settlement but not a small rodent baked into a bun. Do you think you've never eaten something you didn't want to when you have fast food served to you by unconcerned or sadistic employees? Happens every day and you never know it.

Y'all are 100% full of shite if you say you wouldn't expect to get paid at least $50K if you discovered a rodent corpse in your fast food sandwich

That's the problem. Way too quick to sue for crazy amounts of money. Unless the mouse made the customer sick or harmed in some way it's just a Public Relations issue and anything given is just good will to calm the person down. Mental anguish would be crazy to factor in given that the person didn't say they ingested the mouse. The "victim" would still have to prove harm to settle for $50K or anything remotely close to that. Usually this kind of thing gets settled for much less because there's not much of a case of damage and to limit attorney/court costs they may offer up to $3-5K for the person to just settle and move on.

99% of these things turn out to be hoaxes like the pinky finger supposedly found in Wendy's chili.

I'm sure this is one of them.

bullshite. I get a sandwich from any fast food restaurant with a mouse (that's not a rat) in the bun, even if I don't bit into it before realizing it, Imma own that restaurant.

I had the best time of my life eating at Chick-Fil-A, but I refuse to go back because it will never be as good as it was the first time I had it.

Guess I'll have to settle for Wendy's from here in out

LOL.

It looks like she took a small bite from the souther portion of the sammich then pulled a rat from the western location.

Aside from that, If that was something chic-fil-a served me, I would eat it anyway. That's gotta be the best goddamn rat thats ever been cooked.
