Douche city. Went this weekend, tried to stick it out since it was my buddy's birthday but couldn't handle it. Guess I'm getting old. Same crowd that bounces from club to club when they open.

I was there Saturday night with the Santa Suit frickers as part of the pub crawl.
It was very crowded. Nice place but not my cup of tea at my age.

Who is the owner? Been seeing a lot of stuff on Facebook about this place including posts by someone involved in starting this place

Club 1913 coming to BR

“We want to tie into the history of the building,” says John Delgado, the metro councilman who co-owns the club with partners Andrew Bayard and Christian Walther. “This was the first theater in Baton Rouge. Now we are looking to create the premier entertainment venue in Baton Rouge so we want to tie back to the historical roots.”

I think those are the same guys who own Huey's? Didnt they also open a beer bar downtown?

Pretty soon they'll have more places than the walkons guys...

That is Trae Duncan. Great great athlete. One of the best I've ever seen in the BR area in high school and he is very active in the community youth sports programs

Dude is a great guy and helps a lot with kids. Spends most of his time helping young athletes improve themselves

Your buddy Hinson was there Saturday night. In a suit. With 3 or 4 guys who also look like they would punch someone for looking at them wrong.

I went Saturday night also. The upstairs VIP area is pretty nice. Place was crawling with db's.

We got there early and rolled out around 12 to go somewhere else. I don't think I remember seeing anyone in a Santa suit. I had a good buzz

For those old enough to remember Nitelife on Corporate, that was the epitome of db's. These newer places aren't near as cheesy as Nitelife and Triple A circa 1999-2000.

Got a VIP table lined up, tons of grey goose on bottle service. Just say tiger droppings to the bouncer to get through the rope. This post was edited on 12/4 at 6:39 pm

Was there for te soft opening. Place is terrible. They are counting on the fact that douchebags will pay a premium to go upstairs. most of the VIP "booths" are couches wedged between the wall and the railing overlooking the floor. It is a pain in the arse because people are constantly walking through.

Never met the guy but everyone on here blasts him. What's the story on that?

I remember Poet's too. They had some crazy beer special I think on Thursday along with the fog machine and techno!

Honest question, but how much does "VIP" bottle service usually run in Baton Rouge and do people really pay for that in BR nightclubs?
