Whoa what happened to the gas prices?

They jumped up like almost 30 cents in a day. Usually theres a more gradual change.

Price of oil recovering.

Brent closed at $54.57/barrel yesterday. It was under $41.00/barrel to start the year.

Brent nor WTI got close to $41 and oil has been sitting in this current range for about a month.

More demand and less supply than before....

Many factors could help with that, including, government actions, weather, corporate greed, etc

Umm WTI most certainly dipped down to $41 or $42 in December.

42.53 for a day and then sat 45-47 until sitting 50ish the last 2+ weeks.

Oil futures are going up based on economic forecasts in the US and China. That's the simplified answer.
