Oh cool. Just saw they recently came to PHX area. I had a friend buy me an uber ride home once when I had drank too much. Very cool concept.

I may have to compare the two price wise

I tried getting a side job.

It's just been hard finding someone who will hire a guy who can only work after 7pm and can only work for 2 weeks at a time.

I sometimes have that option at my regular job. But....in the slower months at my hospital I got tired of my regular hours getting cut so I got the second job.

Too bad they don't have lyft or uber in your city Fiddy.

Then you could drive people around for extra cash.

Girl who was my driver was a young cute college girl.

Uber is generally the black town car service with commercial drivers/vehicles and is more expensive than UberX or Lyft.

Uber X and Lyft are drivers who are people like me who use their own late-model cars and have clean driving records and have been screened for any criminal activity.

UberX and Lyft are in a price war, so take advantage of that.

Right now I help out a car wash owner with his self-station on the weekends. Usually nets around $300-$700 monthly, depending on how busy it is.

For a while I did basketball officiating, which will land you about $70-$90 for 2.5 hours of work for high school games. My schedule doesn't permit me to work that right now though.

Go work at a golf course or driving range....get paid a few bucks and play/hit ball for free. Your golf game will improve dramatically.

Yep. Am I working harder for the larger salary? No. I'm not going to limit my salary just to save in taxes.

I'm sure I'll be over $200K within 5 more years.

I work for an auto insurance company from 5-8 (at the latest) every weeknight. And 10am til anytime before 2 on Saturdays. I just make calls to people whose policies have lapsed so they can take care of it before the DMV gets ahold of it. I also come in early for extra $$ and just answer phones taking payments.

$13/hr. Simple work. Awesome staff. Flexible hours.

I graduate in a couple weeks, and I hope this will continue to fit once I get a "real" job.

It'll never be enough. I'm 28 and in low six figures. It's not that I'm greedy, I just know I can do better.
