OK, I wondered if you'd stand on that technicality. No, the bear wasn't "saved", but he wanted it killed to put it out of its misery, and the story of him refusing to shoot it is true.

Yeah he refused to shoot it in favor of disemboweling it. Turned out great for the Bear.

Reread that. It doesn't claim the wife was in labor while he was president. The pillow fight was while he was president.

TR had asthma, but he changed his body completely. He was a force of nature. Go read about his time in the forests of Maine or his time in the Badlands. Or later in life on the River of Doubt.

He wanted it killed b/c it was in pain and it was going to die anyway. He refused to shoot it as it would not be sporting.

You waited? I thought you were on top of it since it happened. Regardless, glad you're getting better.

during the pandemic the access to actual therapist physical and occupational was very limited and without insurance, I could not get into the program with self pay some of the places that would see me were too far away. Group Classes were canceled, home limts impossible while paying cash

I did what I could teach myself and worked hard really hard

prolly why my lower body is so far ahead of right arm/hand

If you're unaware of TR's lifelong obsession with creating and controlling his public image then you're not much of a "historian". He may have been a tough guy but there's every reason to take those stories with a grain of salt.

And do we want to discuss “mental” fitness? Joe should crush that. Right?

As far as stamina goes, Ol’ Trump would be in the hunt.
