Well then, heavy weighs the crown

I assume many keep some of the confiscated/seized money for themselves on drug busts. Given how little they make that is perfectly fine with me.

Our inner cities will increasingly become lawless, undesirable places to live.

When qualified immunity is gone, very very few will even try and do it.

No really. It was $17/hr when a 3% wage increase happened last year.

AST is hiring. 70-100k a year.
JPD is hiring, starts at 65k. Its really not difficult to be an officer in Juneau.
Its a legit 6 fig income in some places, its not routine... I can see the appeal for specific personalities.

Weird, most I know have degrees and work in investigations.
I guess it depends on the crowd you choose to hang out with.

This HUGE group, that's who.
Baton Rouge PD is still short 92 bodies after todays BEHEMETH, epitome of diverse, graduation

That’s not the group that WAFB showed at 6pm. There was at least 20 and half were white.

WAFB didn’t like the optics so they changed them with another academy. I watched the recorded video and it’s not the same as in the photo.

Doesn’t Uncle Sam sign your paycheck? Fit right in with that low IQ bunch

I think it depends on where you live.
I’m a former LEO in South Carolina. Specifically Greenville. The community here is insanely supportive of Law Enforcement. However certain departments with poor morale , leadership, and pay still struggle to recruit.
However many agencies here like the Greenville Police Department, Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, and the State Transport Police are totally full and probably not hiring until after the New Year.
Of course I recognize that a community like this that supports LEO is increasingly rare but I can only share what it’s like here. There are still recruiting issues for some agencies here but like I said most of the problems are because of pay.

Nah, some of us aren't on welfare, or parole.
Some of us work, and don't work for the gubment.

WAFB releasing propaganda, I’m shocked.

Their headline literally says "BRPD graduates 9 cadets; faces more than 100 vacancies"

That’s vastly understated. It’s more like 200
