Our house is 6 years old and has them in the attic. We did not build it.

When you buy your first home, you don't know to watch out for this kind of dumb builder crap.

When the pressure relief valve falls and your tank becomes a projectile, do you want it to go through the roof or through an occupied room?

If the water was HOT you wouldn't need a heater.

I’ve had my two tankless water heaters for 14 years. Noritz

Surprised people still put tanks in new homes.

How many times have you experienced this? In my 40 years I haven’t had this or know anyone that’s had this happen.

My sisters house has it in the attic and you can guarantee that their hot water freezes everytime it gets below 30

Why do you have to heat water that’s already hot?

My water heater is in the basement.
It shite the bed and leaked out a couple of years ago.
It took me a couple of hours to vacuum up the water, and I was actually happy to do it bc I just kept thinking about what a mess it would've been if it was in the attic.
