My family eats there on road trips. The older people and disabled folks enjoy being able to sit in the rockers while waiting for a table. There is enough menu variety that everyone can find something to eat. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. My dad likes the breakfast food.

Breakfast there is superior and always consistent. Best pancakes anywhere. Bacon is thick cut. Biscuits, if that is your thing, are better than anything you can get at McDonalds.

I had dinner at the CB in Gadsden AL last month while on a road trip. Solid meal. Pot roast, green beans, mashed potatoes and lots of gravy, of course biscuits. I even talked to the (Black) manager who came to the table. Real nice folks working there. No signs of woke BS at that time. TBH though, prior to that, I hadn’t been to any CB in ages.

I wasn't too impressed with Cracker Barrel the couple of times I had to go with older family members.

I guess it depends on how much highly processed, preservative filled stuff you're used to eating.

Definitely tastes like a fast food version of home cooking.

I agree. Cracker barrel really is trash. But I get it. Most of the baws on here can't cook and think trash restaurants like cracker barrel or red lobster is actual good food. Must be the boomers who is all about cracker barrel bc I didn't know anyone under 40 that be wanting to eat there.

Maybe folks just don’t want to be around you. Doesn’t mean they don’t eat there. Get a better attitude.

Had the worst country fried steak in my life there. Needless to say we don’t go there hardly ever.

I liked their chicken n dumplings if I had to eat any not homemade. Definitely not as good as grandma’s, but were edible. And the candy/gift shop was cool.

I know I have been before because I remember the little peg game on more than one occasion, but I honestly have no idea whether it was good or not since the last visit was probably when I was 9.

I remember eating there one time. I know people love their breakfast, but I never ate their for breakfast so I don't care about this at all, but evidently there are enough people who do eat there.
