I believe Gandh(1982)i was the last major motion picture released with an intermission as part of the film (The Hateful Eight(2015) also had one but it was not a blockbuster release like Gandh was and it was also part of what Tarantino's desire to give the movie a 1960's feel.)
Really, longer than 2 1/2 hours should allow for a break Especially if you are targeting old folks like me

A Bridge Too Far
Mary Poppins, thank God my grandmother took us home at intermission. I couldn't stand another second of that movie

Scarface had an intermission in the initial release but subsequent releases did not have an intermission. I am not sure if that was during the first run or subsequent runs. For whatever reason, all the movie sites seem to agree that Gandhi was the last major motion picture with a built-in intermission. They may be wrong or their reasoning may be flawed but I do not know how they came to that conclusion.

Dr Zivago
Lawrence of Arabia
Both were classics and very good movies. Must be others.

I only remember God Father II.
Paint Your Wagon (Clint Eastwood, Lee Marvin) had an intermission.
Not old enough to have seen it in the theater, but I watched the uncut version on AMC or Bravo or someplace and it included the 15 minute intermission screen.
