Im not taking the chance that some teenager didnt bag the bread crumbs that I need for my meatloaf. Nor am I going through every bag to see if everything I purchased is in there.

Sometimes.
If I'm on the way home from work and I need them I go to the groceries. If I'm at home on the weekends and don't feel like going out I have them delivered.

I use the WalMart curbside order sometimes. It takes a while if you're picking up on a Sunday, so I pick up on Monday at ~9am.
Ordering your groceries is a HUGE money-saver because you can add/delete things based on price, you can see a running total, and you aren't tempted to grab random shite.
I read an article the other day saying online grocery ordering has vastly exceeded expectations and they anticipate 70% of people to be using it with 5-7 years. The data showed that even low income folks are using it. As they should -- it makes budgeting much simpler.
The WalMart grocery order website/app is awesome too because if you want, you can use it to add everything to your cart and then not submit the order and go to the store using the app as your list. Just delete as you grab the item. It is awesome because you know if what you want is in stock beforehand.
NOTE - I do all of this through Neighborhood WalMart. There is no Super near me and I also hate them.

Those of you in BR - our local stores are adding it.
Mathernes Downtown has added online ordering, which I'm considering trying. I work 3 blocks away so it would be awesome to swing by after work and grab my already-packed order. They have an interactive ad on their website too that you can click and order from, so you shop the sales.

Never thought about that at all. Me and the woman grab random shite every time and it really can be used to track food costs per month!
I know the grocery stores are expecting a larger consumer base around this technology. An entire row of parking spaces at our Kroger in Las Colinas is dedicated to store pickup.

We shop for Sunday-Friday (lunch only for Friday). So 6 lunch meals and 5 dinners.
Averaging $60 currently, with a 24-pack of soft drinks taking up ~13% of that. Sometimes it is as low as $45, sometimes as high as $70. But that is far less than we were spending before. And as a note - I cook something different every night. No leftover nights.

WalMart was genius for this. They're getting a customer base that had abandoned them due to the nightmare that is being inside of a WalMart.

We do Shipt. I'll go to Publix every once in awhile but it's rare now.

Guess I'm in the minority that actually enjoys going to the grocery store. I go to my local Rouse's and see a ton of people I know and there is usually a plethora of hot women.

part of the joy of going to the supermarket is having all of the young milfs/soccer moms checking me out, why would I deny them this simple pleasure?

I used Walmart pick up twice. First time they called me right before I was ready to leave to tell me it wouldn't be ready until the next day. Gave them another shot and they left out almost half of my groceries. Never again.
Albertsons is doing delivery for $6 but I live by the one on the corner of Bluebonnet and Burbank. They are in the middle of renovating the store so delivery isn't an option yet. I fear it may never be available from that store because they probably don't want to have to send drivers into Gardere.

Also, have laundry service; pick up, wash, fold, and deliver.
Roughly where do you live and what do you pay?
It seems like the few places I've found around NOLA are really high cost for this service, so it's not worth it.

Schwegmans Stores today.
Was really a store ahead of their time.
It's a shame they bungled up that Canal Villerie purchase.

I enjoy going grocery shopping. Rouse's has a steady stream of talent.

So what did you make this week? Impressive to be able to make at least 6 different meals on ~55 bucks
