Alice Cooper. He said he played golf a lot and liked doing cameos on sitcoms.

Broadway Joe. Swollen knobby knees that look painful. seemed like a happy guy though.

Dan Marino. He spoke to everybody while his wife wrangled his kids.

Poodie Locke. RIP

Hung with Aunt Esther at a BBQ in my hometown. She was in character the entire day, and funny as hell.

Was involved in music festival production for several years. Too many musicians to mention.

Nothing comes to mind. Funny story though. My best friends brother got Christopher Lloyd’s cell number from someone. He didn’t believe it. Called him. fricking doc answered. They talked for a few minutes.

My dad was in outdoor media so as a kid I regularly tagged along. He interviewed The Nuge in his Hyatt room around the time we formed Damn Yankees. No shite the guy sleeps with a loaded revolver on his nightstand which would make Dirty Harry envious. My eyes almost bugged out of their sockets. His son is my age and the coolest thing was him thinking enough to have room service deliver me a Coke before the interview. Related people through the years...Ollie North, Dana Loesch, SE Cupp, David Clarke, Oz (Benghazi), and Wayne LaPierre. At the sports trade show Sheryl Swoopes, Lindros, Len Dawson, Singletary, and as part of the press conference for the 75th NFL season I was outside the room and got to hear some shite talking between Sayers and Nitsheke.

Autograph shows are numerous. Urlacher, several times Butkus & Singletary, Pete Rose (prick), Johnny Bench, Hester, The Fridge, McMahon, and Montana-Clark. The best though was one specific half hour which consisted of meeting first Bob Feller then Jim Brown and finally Gordie Howe.

Had coffee with George Jones. He was a helluva nice guy.

Mr. T at the Phoenix airport.

Had an extended conversation with Lee Smith (MLB pitcher) in Natchitoches in the mid 90s.

Cole Robertson (personally), Jase (personally) , and have met Wllie and Phil.
Cole and Jase were a lot more cool pre-duck dynasty days.

The Mighty Mick

Met Mickey Mantle, Moose Skowron and Don Larsen at a baseball card show in Metairie about 30 years ago. Had to pay $17 for his autograph.

Also met Hank Aaron in the Astrodome before a game when my team attended a game and we got autographs during batting practice.

Met Jerry Jones at Jerry World. ATT stadium had just been built and we were heading to our seats at a concert. We were early and the stadium was pretty empty. Jerry was in the seating area in front of his box talking to some people and we were passing by them on our way to our seats.

As we passed by I stopped and shook Jerry’s hand and said this is a real nice stadium you’ve got here. He went on about how he was glad he was to be able to give Dallas something this nice.

My son and I continued on to our seats and I asked him if he knew who that guy was I talked to and he had no idea. I told him it was the guy that owned this place.

It was pretty funny, but you probably had to be there.
