I don't think any of those would be listed as BR even on Wiki.

A lot of the people mentioned only moved here for high school.
Yet we can't count moving here for LSU.
Beats me.

If they came here during high school, they had a house, family had a job, etc.
People come to LSU just for college and never look back.
In that case, Shaq would be the most famous person, that's why I said born and raised, or at least went to school here pre-college.

John Mohammed (DC sniper).
Fun fact: he could run a sub 16 min 3 miles in his 20s. He was in my dad's National Guard unit in BR(by Airport).

Easily Billy Cannon Jr:
quote:
On Halloween night in 1979, he returned a punt against Istrouma (his father's alma mater) 89 yards for a touchdown and a 20–18 win, exactly 20 years after his father had his famous 89 yard punt return for Louisiana State University to beat Ole Miss 7–3.[1]
quote:
As a sophomore, he was moved to free safety and led the secondary with 58 tackles. He also had a publicized incident, after he knocked an A&M cadet to the ground, when he threatened an SMU cheerleader with his sabre.
