Saw Dr. Eiserloh at BR Orthopedic. He was fantastic, would highly recommend him. (Surgery on a disk)

Peak Performance and Jason Green for PT...

By the way, Jason is Dr. Craig Green's brother. Maybe you could get a discount if you kept it in the family

And I will second Brent Bankston and Craig Green for knees.

Side note, someone upthread said it depends on who the Dr refers you to. That's not true; you can choose your own PT, although they will suggest someone. As of last summer, you don't even need a Dr. referral to get PT. If you are in pain and want therapy, just call up the PT clinic you want to go to and schedule an appt. Cuts out the middle man, though it sounds like you will need the Dr. for your particular issue (ACL). Good luck

Ricardo Rodriguez

He did my ACL and lateral root meniscus. He doesn't get attention that Bankston or Greene does but he did a great job on my knee with how bad it was.

I took my daughter to see Greene recently and I wasn't impressed with him. I see all of his awards and accolades on the walls but I just didn't care for his arrogance.

Does anybody know Dr. Pope at the Bone and Joint Clinic? I'm supposed to see him about my knee in 3 weeks.

Some good answers already. I've had the opportunity to quiz nurses working surgery in orthopedics on this topic from the 80's until recently. I've heard the same thing often. His abrasive personality seems to have ruffled a lot of feathers for many years but Thad Broussard still manages a lot of first mention when asked who's got the skills.

According to every nurse I talk to, it's Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez.

He got an appointment with Brent Bankston today. Seems to be a popular choice.

But who are some good PT's?? Heard Tyler Lafauci is the best for rehab.

How about a so-so orthopedic surgeon and PT? Why does it have to be "the best"? Is your friend some kind of star athlete?

Fin delusions of grandeur over here.

it's just a running thing on here, everyone's always looking for "the best" whatever and every time I see that I think what about a "okay" one.

That's usually what they're looking for.

"What's the best xxxxx for a good price?"

=

"What's the best okay xxxx bc I don't actually want to pay for the best?"

My brother is an orthopedic surgeon and when I tore my ACL, he and our trainer highly recommended Dr. Bankston. He did a great job and I have not had any issues with that particular surgery after PT.

Isn't green running for political office?

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the names in this thread.
