I used Winder for mine.
Been using it for years now and I still play soccer and basketball regularly.
For PT I went to OLOL near Essen. They did a good job.

You are correct, but considering he has an acl tear his surgeon will refer him to a pt.
I wasn't looking at this from a general pain perspective.
I think pt's are pushing to start being able to also diagnose certain conditions

Brent Bankston did my Left ACL in 2008. That knee is perfect. Someone else did my right ACL in 1993. That knee is not perfect. Go see Brent Bankston!
