I must say , that the MLK speech “I have a dream” is something special”. I am not a liberal by any means , but simply appreciate his delivery and it’s poitnency in history.
He begins with a series of “I” statements...I have a dream about this, I have a dream about that...then he switches to a “we” narrative” we can do this, we can do that!...then switches again to a let freedom ring narrative till the end that ties into the “we” part again. If it has been a while for you to listen to this I emplore you to do it again and keep this explanation in mind.
