Just the two of us here. No kids, siblings or parents. Kind of sad

I can almost guarantee this is going to happen at my house. My dumbass BIL brought his unruly Akita over to “run free” on our land.

Not totally alone, got some family but we don’t even celebrate Christmas. But I’m frickin miserable. Going through the motions of life, hardly have the will to carry on.

I just got back home. Spent yesterday evening and today with family. Did the obligated gift exchange and left. Would rather be alone than with them. Girlfriend is with her family. I am off tomorrow. I do wonder what I can eat tomorrow though...

I saw a homeless drug addict 20 year old white dude next to a building freezing his but off. I’m pretty sure he’s alone!

Life is full of ups and downs. Hang in there. It may take a bit, by the ups are on the way.

I just spent Christmas Eve with a friend from AA and her family for the 2nd straight year. I'll talk to a few people on the phone tomorrow but I'll be alone. I'm grateful and happy though.

A few years back, I found myself alone on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I live alone and am alone 99% of the time when I am not at work. I am typically perfectly content to be alone. I thought I would have no problem with being alone on Christmas…boy was I wrong! Virtually everything was closed and even the streets were almost totally empty. At that point I vowed to never spend Christmas alone again.

Next time I am alone on Christmas, I plan to volunteer at a soup kitchen or find a nursing home to visit some elderly folks. The idea someone else mentioned about hosting a “stray cat” party sounds like a lot of fun to me as well!

I plan to ski as much as possible. Should be decent powder day but expecting wetness. Apres I hope to eat, drink and be merry amongst strangers. Call the folks and all that afterwards as the evening begins. Then continue drinking, smoking and consuming mushrooms till I’m bare arse outside singing Christmas carols for all the folks of Whistler Creekside Village to hear.

Usually a prime day for soloing in any park, trail, or outdoor activity. I usually find a cool Air Bnb/Hipcamp spot and explore around. Very fun if comfortable with being alone and such.

Walrus, if you are in Memphis, drive down to Madison, MS by 11:30 am for lunch. A collection of family, friends and stragglers are getting together and it’s just a laid back day. We have Turkey, ham, dressing, dreamland ribs, homemade cinnamon rolls, coconut cake, veggies and on and on. I’m serious. Hit me up and I will get some contact info to you.

My family is Anti Vax. Though I'm fully vaxxed and boosted I refuse to put my self at risk for their selfishness by gathering with them. Going to spend the day alone catching up on Marvel movies and TV shows on Disney Plus.

So, you are vaxxed but obviously think the vax is bogus or you wouldn’t be worried about being around non-vaxxed people. Thanks for exposing yourself as a fraud.
