All of that is reasonable and probably true from what Ive read and heard

Thats actually not true.. Hes private and keeps to himself. He has friends but doesnt seem to get close with many or any. He was disliked more when he first came on tour and found quick success. He was overtly cocky which isnt the problem but the style of cockiness he displayed. I think there is a sense of unknown with him because of his wife and issues surrounding his estrangement from his family. He has gained quite a bit of respect from his fellow tour players with his international team play.

Also the cheating on the golf course thing is overblown.
He doesn’t need to cheat. He’s just really abrasive and downright mean to people, especially strangers.
I have heard from a couple UGA golfers however that he did in fact steal from one of them out of a golf locker and was then basically voted off the team. Again, that is somewhat forgivable as being a young dumb kid.
I’ve got crazy respect for his golf game and he had a very aggressive dad which can explain his doucheness, but that doesn’t mean I need to like him.
Ask people at Bluejack how he treats staff there. You can learn a lot about people from how they treat service industry workers.

They respect his game for sure. Almost none of them would piss on him if he was on fire though. They’re pros though and know it’s right to keep that shite out of the media and to be respectful of his game when he wins.
