I remember battling 2 kids named Broussard (later USL kicker) and Ferguson that played for the Broadmoor Falcons for all those years but seeing them and being friendly at Skate City or Fun Fair Park.
Patrick Broussard and Jeff Ferguson. Knew them both. Was on FB with Patrick before I ditched FB.

I went to SE JH in ‘82 and we still had the Broncos and Bengals jerseys going on. I went to U High for 7th grade so 6th grade was my last year as a Bronco. I remember one of my buddies played for SE our 6th grade year and he hated it. Was a good player too but that school was just a mess.

I went to HS w/ his daughter Rene, so I’d see him from time to time after Southeast. Loved that old guy.
Mr. Day once threatened to paddle me at Southeast when I got a pink slip from a substitute teacher, but he let me off with a warning.

No I was older than you . In 78 I would have been in 7th grade and already on the senior team. I know who you are though- I was also a Lambda Chi before you as well, I’m fairly sure.

I played for the Broncos…we sucked, although we kicked the shite out of Scotlandville one year. It was our Super Bowl.

Godfather we definitely know each other. I think we were probably friends. At SE my best friends would have been T Smith and J st Romain. In High School I knew everyone at Woodlawn/BRH/ Trafton/ Belair. Thanks for verifying the names of the Broadmoor guys. I loved playing against them and talking shite but always respected them .
Gravois “ Hey Pimp where is your lunch money? Why ya always forget ya lunch money? Ya wanna see Al Bamboo ? ( he named his paddle) . One day I punched Bervin Smith at PE and I remember he was happy because he didn’t like Bervin lol.

Remember them both well. I guess my best friend at SE probably would’ve been B Newman, but I hung out with a lot of different people.

I played American Legion ball with Bervin, and later worked at DH Holmes w/ him in the mid 80s. We became good friends.
Great times. BR was a smaller town. We all knew each other.

I remember most of the people you listed. Went to SE/Broadmoor/Belaire with all of them. We were Judge Parker’s deseg Guinea pigs. I swear, I’m gonna find that old bastard’s grave one day and piss on it.
Along w/ Cherie Rowland, a true woman among girls.
As recently as a couple of years ago, when Cherie wished me a Happy Birthday on FB, I was dancing on a cloud for the rest of the day.
