I'd always wake up to her staring out the blinds. Took me a week to figure out what she was looking at

What kind of dog is that on top? Looks like the dog from Turner and Hooch.

Awesome dogs. We've got two of them. Need to teach them to hunt moles though.

BTW, I fricking hate moles!

We didn't exactly witness it, but we woke up one morning in early May to the results of our labrador assassinating a bin full of baby ducks. Our pregnant labrador who seemingly couldn't have cared less about the little ducks peeping away for a week was apparently planning a coup. We awoke to dead duck babies both in her whelping box and also smashed flat into the living room floor (we think she rolled on them). Our fault, she's a trained duck dog. 6 year old daughter was not happy.

I have a black and tan coonhound that tussled with many critters. Had the end of her tail docked by a hog

A big male yote jumped our fence while we were out to dinner last year.

He did not survive.

Dogs were covered in blood but only had BS facial scratches. They have kept their distance ever since.

My sweet little pup hit a gear I've never seen a couple months ago when one of the neighbors chickens wandered into our yard. There was this brief feeling of lost innocence to the whole ordeal. She was remarkably quick and precise in her brutality and so proud of her kill.
The part that stands out the most to me were the sounds coming from both beast and prey and then sudden silence. Fantastic yet horrible!

I think you need to find out the meaning of Full Monty.

I have an injured dog, who basically has only 3 good legs. He is very friendly, probably the most kind hearted dog I've ever owned. He went after and caught a rabbit with ease. Surprised me that he was able to catch it.

First. I'm jealous you have a corgi. This should have been one of your proudest moments as a dog owner.

Last Easter neighbors bunny rabbit got loose in my backyard my golden snapped its neck and brought it back into my house joyfully like he just won the fricking lotto with his new toy.

That's what she is. A Doggue De Bordeaux. Or in more American terms, a French Mastiff.

Used to have a Whippet that I squirrel hunted with. He racked up on helluva body count. With his speed nothing was safe in our yard. Cats, birds( snagged a bluejay in mid flight).squirrels and one big arse coon. I witnessed that one, it was bloody. He ended up missing the bottom of his ear and needing a bunch of shots, but whippet 1 coon 0

If pride wasn't your first emotion, you should give the dog to someone who likes dogs. That looks pretty cool.

It wasn't so much the death that got me, it was the ripping in half of the hog, followed by turning around to see a groundhog leg sticking out of my corgis mouth, followed by the crunching and swallowing of said leg all like NBD.

I feed my dogs raw, but their food doesn't normally have feet still attached

My Aussie Shepherd loves to whack a copperhead (or any snake). Took her downtown Shreveport to see the flood and she killed one over by Sci-Port.
