Any pictures of the sex dungeon?

Asking for a friend.

Sounds interesting. There have been a few threads about it over the years. I think I'll pick up a copy from my friends at Amazon.

No but in the book it said that it was so dark you couldn't see out of it and that it was lined with plastic on the ceiling, walls, and floor. I guess for easier clean up.

You'd be surprised at what coroners know and what they are asked to do via bribes. My father was a coroner in Louisiana for a year. He quit and left the State the same day in fear for his life, circa 1979. He wouldn't return to Louisiana for over 30 years. The corruption in Louisiana is bigger than you could ever imagine.

What happened to him?

That sounds like Dixie Mafia stuff. Dixie Mafia is very real. They are so brutal the Italian mobs all steered clear of them.

Didn't they make one of those True Detective type shows about the case?

They did...it was mostly fluff

I’ve reciently heard about Netflix partnering with someone to do a docu-movie about it, but I don’t know if it will happen.

I got down a rabbit hole today regarding cases like this, and I read about the Chillicothe murders in Ohio that occurred a few years ago.

Somewhat similar case, though I've read that most were straight OD's. I wonder if there was LEO involvement suspected there as well. There was also some suspected involvement of a serial killer who was killed by a potential victim in 2015 in nearby West Virginia as well.

Frankie ain’t did nuffin. Y’all leave baby Frankie alone.

My take on it is that because of the way all these girls are connected probably a couple dozen people know what happened. But it’s Jennings and these are hos and junkies and crooked cops and even more crooked pols and nobody thinks it’s worth it. Better to let it lie than dig into all those subterranean levels.

I've read the book and watched a couple of episodes of the Showtime mini-series and the one on A&E.
My theory is that the murder of the guy that ran the drug house (T-Bird) was witnessed by several of the Eight. I don't believe one person is responsible for all the murders. I also believe at least one was an over dose. However, I do believe that law enforcement put the word out that if these witnesses were to die, certain charges would be dropped and or continued drug activity would be overlooked. Just a theory...

So, was the T-Bird murder covered in the Showtime series? I don't remember seeing anything about it (may just have missed it), but it was covered in the book. The only in-house murder I recall seeing in the series was the guy Guillory took down in Lake Arthur...

just finished watching the entire Showtime series after coming across this thread yesterday.

Sad stuff. Frankie knows. A lot of info probably died with Warren Gary. And Terrie Guillory knows.
