No idea what the sign is on #2, so assuming it means nothing: 2, 3, 1

I'm assuming the odd sign for #2 was put in there just to cause conflict and arguments in the comments section on Facebook.

It was so amusing to watch the idiots argue on Facebook that I had to put it here. Sorry OT. I'm using you for cheap thrills today.

The "odd" sign (equilateral triangle pointed up)is used to indicate some sort of danger ahead. It's a warning sign.

In this case, the warning is you are surrounded by bad drivers. These signs should actually be all over our roads in every state.

Only Louisiana drivers can screw this up

I'm sure people across the country say the same thing... Every state has bad drivers.

Oh, and nobody knows how to drive in the rain

Do they not teach yall how to read road signs and drive in Louisiana? The sign for #2 is a road work sign. #2 would go first as he is not disrupting another lane that does not have a traffic control device. Then #3 as he would not be disrupting traffic in a lane without a traffic control device. Then #3 would go as his traffic control device allows him to enter the lanes only when there is no traffic.

It's 2,3,1 but it's a stupid illustration because there wouldn't be a yield sign at an intersection like that. It would be a stop sign. But that has no affect on the scenario.

Everyone knows how it works. The only question was if #2 had a yield sign.

LA doesn't use red & white yield shaped signs for road work so the confusion was understandable.

If a yield sign for 2 then 3 is first.

Then 2 and then 1.

That's not a yield sign for #2, it's upside down compared to yield signs. Not to mention that a yield sign for 2 to yield to 3 makes no sense. No road would ever be designed that way.

The color of the sign is less significant than the shape, that is more what I am getting at.

That's true.

I have to admit when I first glanced at it I didn't notice it was a reverse shape.

I'd like to think that if someone was in their car in the actual situation they'd read it and know it was a construction sign and not a yield sign

Except I thought everyone knew that a yield sign was an upside down triangle. Apparently not everyone knows that.

231, people are dumb. We need to make it harder to drive. Make people renew their license by retaking the test. All these dumbass are essentially usuing a loaded gun without proper training.

#2 is not a yield sign. Never would it ever be a yield sign.

It's not a construction sign, it's a warning sign for an intersection.

ETA: The bigger issue is that it's not an MUTCD approved sign as far as I can tell. I'm browsing through it now to double check, the image I posted is apparently for Nepal
