Flew it to Dubai and then South Africa. Best airline I’ve been on by far. Their business class makes any American airline first class look like a spirit flight.

Virgin is another good one.

Emirates rewards gold status here - it’s a great airline. No comparison to any US carrier.

True. But let’s be honest, it’s not like any US carrier sets the bar very high.

Got to fly 1st class from London to Brisbane with a former boss about 8 years ago with a stop in Dubai.

The 1st class lounge there was amazing. Some of the best food I've ever had. The thing I always tell people was that the entire bathroom was plated in gold. Absolutely crazy.

Flying a Domestic Carrier is like taking a midnight Greyhound bus. Flying UAE carriers is like riding in a chauffeur driven Maybach.

Flown it to from JFK to Africa via stop in Dubai in business.

3 legs were A380 which is amazing. 1 was 777, which is an inferior product for modern day business. But all in all, was excellent. Great staff on the plane. The bar at the back of the A380s is pretty cool.

Economy seating

Premium economy

Business class

First class

So yea it’s a good way to realize how criminally shitty the American carriers are.

When I was in NYC a few months ago, the hotel I stayed at was also where Emirates crews stayed. I saw them every morning in the lobby, not a hair out of place. They all looked like the one in the front of this photo

Emirates 777-300, Houston to Dubai, the airline was excellent, the foreigners who I flew with absolutely trashed the airplane, garbage on the floor, food on the floor etc. about 2 weeks later, I flew back to HOU and had the same experience, absolutely trashed the plane again.

A few times on the Houston to Dubai direct flight. Even in economy, it was good in the window seat. I even sorta got used to the 16 hours on a plane.

Unfortunately never Emirates, but I have flown Qatar twice enroute to India and they are leaps and bounds above US carriers. I put British Airways in the same echelon as US based. Iberia is dogwater.

(I stick to OW)

I've flown Qatar Air and some of the most beautiful Asian women I've ever seen were stewardess. Whoever recruited those gals had a nice life.

They have zero pressure to hire trannies or gays and little tolerance for stews with bad attitudes.
