Who Has Been To One Of John Morgan's Shows?

I know John and his family. He lives in the same town as me. Good people. Dude is just naturally funny.
Before last night, I saw him live two or three times at the funny bone and this was years ago. We talking maybe 15+ years.
Last night he was at the Texas Club (a place I have been to maybe once or twice in my life and when I have gone I never spent a long time there and it has been an even longer time since I have last gone there).. It was a packed show, I am sure someone reading this was there, but if anyone has been to his show.. Isn't that mother fricker funny or what?

Is this the guy from MMAJunkie? If not, then I don't care.

I saw him several times at the Funny Bone back in the day. Yes, he's hilarious.

Probably so but no one wants to admit to being trashy.

Well, I guess that is the difference between me and most of you pussies. I don't let me going somewhere that people, turn their nose up at, define me.

Holy shite that’s terrible
I hate comedians that try to make people laugh by being loud and laughing themselves

He used to be in Laffy a lot waaaaay back. I always found him funnier than the average local comedian but didn't find him uproariously funny.
For whatever reason, I never talked to or met him personally, he always came across as a genuinely nice guy, not sure though.

Yeah, he went to school at ULL.. He was in one of the fraternities. My mom's husband was in the same one, but I can't remember which one it is, but I want to say that's where he started off doing most of his shows.

Again, like people have pointed out on here numerous times. You are likely one of the biggest trolls on this site. STFU and just stop posting.

He’s a good dude. I ran into him at Bayou Road lumber in Plaquemine and he is just as loud and obnixious in public he had the whole store in tears laughing

John was an SAE @ USL from around 1987-1991, originally from the Crescent City. I’m friends with him as we’re the same age and had several classes together. He was the Student Govt Assn President and lived in the Phi Mu ? house on sorority row. The house was owned by the University and vacant so JM convinced Dr Authement to allow him to move in and pay rent.
Around 20+ yrs ago his wife’s dad won the LA Powerball. John got his big break on the national scene by winning an HBO Comedy special. IIRC, he also did some appearances on MTV during their Spring Break week with Eric Nyes back in the mid 90’s. John is definitely a funny MF’er

Good background info on him.
I was at LSU the same time, and there was a rally at the capital in 1991 to "save higher ed from budget cuts". All colleges had a delegation there, and John was there as USL SGA President, hamming it up for the news cameras.
Also present were the Grambling students who were wearing t-shirts that had printed on them "the blacker the college, the sweeter the knowledge."
This white boy got a little woke that day.

I have booked comedians for 30 years. Had the Funny Bone for 27 of those years. Did Jeff Foxworthy, Drew Carey, Rodney Carrington, Phyliss Diller, Ron White, Bill Hicks, Steve Harvey and Billy Gardel just to name a few. John can be as funny as any of them. His material is always changing and no one show is the same as the other. John has been playing my rooms since 1994. I consider him a business partner and a great friend.

I saw his show many times at the Funny Bone. If I heard an ad the he was scheduled, I callled and made a reservation. He was hilarious. Had a few conversations with him and he was very much a down to earth guy. Some years ago, he worked for the same juvenile services agency I now work for.
