Got one about 12 years ago and great decision. 20 minutes and a punch in the gut is what the procedure is like. Nothing to it and two things my urologist (who is a friend of ours) told my wife that we're very important:
1. I can have sex with anyone I want and won't get them pregnant.
2. There is a wash out period of about 20 times and 8 of those have to be by mouth.

I did at 39 and it was definitely worth it. I didn't want to be raising teenagers in my late 50s.
