Been over here now for two years from Texas and finally deciding to move on from BoA. Is Iberia, Whitney, or any certain bank better than the next or all thof same? Thanks.

Chase is aight

I like them because there's a location at every street corner.

I feel like I'm up in Boston and it's Dunkin Donuts.

Checking with regions. Truck loan with Iberia. Construction loans with iberville and plaquemine bank. Business account with Chase. All solid.

Are there actually significant differences between chase, regions, BoA, etc. for "average" people?

I hate dealing with Chase as it seems that ever interaction is a PITA. Tons of stupid rules, forms, and other things that make life difficult. Just not very customer friendly.

I use Iberia Bank for business and personal -- they are great. I've also had personal accounts with Regions and they were great too.

Bancorpsouth is the official bank of LSU Sports. And my GF inherited a bunch of their stock, so you'd be doing me a favor as long as you stay current on your loans and don't make any overdrafts

Chase is a pain in the arse.

No one can deposit money in your account unless they're on the account.

You have to show an ID for any deposit, even if it is .01. (This isn't true at CapOne or any other bank I've dealt with.)

My mortgage is at Chase and every month I transfer funds to cover the automatic payment but other than that, I bank with Campus Federal Credit Union.

Wat

I have been with chase/bankone forever and have never had to do this, even with large deposits. And now I use the atm for everything .
