Mitch Hedberg. His one liners are some of the best I have ever heard.
It hurts me to think about what he could have stretched his style into. Some people can't appreciate one liner comedy, but it may be the hardest style to do well.

Ralphie May. He was funny.

Hedberg and Steven Wright were true kings of their craft

Rogan's standup is surprisingly really good.
No it’s not. Neither is Joey Diaz. Rogan has a great podcast. I’ll give him that.

You're not even doing it right. Filipinos whose first language is not English have trouble saying the "F" sound.
The way the quoted bit sounds when spoken by someone whose first language is Tagalog goes like this:
"Ohhhh, Josep. Why you want to be comedian Josep? You think you're punny, Josep?"

Joey is an acquired taste. His isn't so much a traditional setup, joke, punchline, tag style. He's a story teller, even more so than a comedian. His stories on "This is not Happening" are hilarious.

The funniest part is how she says "comedian". She doesn't say "comedian", she says "comijin".
So, both of us got it wrong.

If you like a fat, red faced, slob Cuban yelling into a microphone about to have a heart attack, I guess.

Right now: Mark Normand. He needs his own Netflix or Amazon Prime special. "I'm Kevin Hart!"
All-time: Dave Chappelle. Killing them Softly and For What its Worth were incredible. Sticks and Stones was a great comeback set as well.
I also enjoy Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr, and John Mulaney.

Uncle Joey isn't a great standup, but holy shite are his stories and ramblings hilarious. He does much better in a storytelling format than anything else.

Have you listened to his 3 part ongoing life story on the honeydew podcast w/ Ryan Sickler. Jesus, how is Diaz still alive?

Jerry Clower's use of language and the way he told stories put you right there "amongst 'em". All clean too.

My favorite was his Elephant in the room special.
He was unapologetically honest with everything he did.

Easily Steve Martin all time funny comedian. He's the only comedian that's been around as long as he has that's still funny. (off the top of my head, I'm sure I'm forgetting someone)
