I've seen way too many Aidens these days.
On the contrary, Aaron is a good normal name, but I only met one Aaron in person

Seinfeld was always on their “make fun of xyz game.”

They’re calling the baby Jag for short. I don’t know these people but someone I do know was making fun of them.

Agreed. Not enough Gertrudes around these days.

I'd scream Gertrude's name so loud in bed the house echoes before I'd greet and say hi to a Kinsley or McKayla.

I have zero problem with Ezra, that goes back to ancient Hebrew

ETA: Mateo also is an ancient Spanish name for Matthew - no problem with that

I have a nephew named Jaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxssssssooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

It is "Jaxson" but you have to say it like a baseball PA announcer. It gets really annoying at family get-togethers.

girl names have definitely left the "ee" ending fad and has been replaced with the "uh" ending

90% of the girls in my 5 year olds class end with an "uh" sound

...including my daughter

My boys are named William and Oliver (twins).

Not really anything hipster about it. However, up until signing the birth certificates I wanted their middle names Wolf and Raven .. so almost went hipster.

Fair enough, maverick is pretty dumb though

Eta: Asher is ancient too, but an Assyrian name for an American is weird.

Ahh, assur, i’m retarded

Going on record and saying if you name your kid Austin, he's going to end up being a shithead

My evidence: 3 out of the 3 Austin's I know are shitheads
