When i was growing up, anyone who was someone had a starter jacket. It was a must have if you were going to school. One of the most poplular fashion must have items i remember throughout school. What was the most popular one at your school? And which one did you own?

I live in Columbia, Mississippi and this was most popular by a long shot

These were the two i owned

I remember wanting one of those so badly in 8th grade in 1996. All the cool kids had one.

Are you okay?

You've started a 1990s themed thread damn near every day for at least the last week.

Don't get me wrong, I can get down with some 1990s talk, but I just want to extend an inquiry just in case you're contemplating doing something stupid.

As for the thread, yes, of course.

That son of a bitch was far too heavy for south Louisiana though, so I spent many days sweating my arse off just to sport the jacket in mild weather.

They're one of the few styles from the 1980s that wasn't absurd and is actually still in production today.

while on the 90's topic...this was my favorite hat as a kid. Was huge Bills fan (in Louisiana of all places)

my parents would buy me Knights of the Round table shirts instead of Polos.
I hated them.
