Good Morning Friends,
I sat down a little while ago and spoke with my cismale friend Jamal over a soy pumpkin spice latte. Anyways we dug real deep in a topic that Jamal cares deeply about ... hurricane names. He was outraged that hurricanes are rarely given “brothah” or “sistah” names as he puts it. Instead of Hurricane Tyrone or Lakreisha we get Hurricane Sally????

Yeah, I was thinking Katrina, but then I looked it up and there are tons of white Katrina's in Australia/NZ.
And NOAA addressed this a while back, which is why we have names like Nana.

It took them 25 years to stop naming them with female only names...can't wait until they throw additional confusion onto the pile with requests for non-binary or unicorn-kin names.
