Has anyone noticed. Huge uptick in commercials that show a white man with a black woman? I've noticed alot of those as of late.

If it was the other way around it would just be a commercial about a kid ( by himself) running around doing whatever they wanted to do and committing crimes, getting shot. Then a mother crying about how good her baby was..

White ppl are definitely underrepresented in commercials. 75% of scientists are women and/or people of color, according to commercials.

I've only seen products w target demos being mothers be "family" commercials. So this makes sense

Also, if it's ever an office/work scene in a commercial, the boss is always a black guy dealing with some incompetent white underling.

There's that new direcTV (I think) commercial where a cool white guy corrects the dumb black guy about watching football on TV in his garage and I was like huh that's something you don't usually see.

I support this. I don't know why it took this long for it to happen. I have dated 3 black ladies. But maybe I'm an outlier and not the norm.
