I use WeatherBug....displays the weather station at the airport and it has a radar. Weather alerts pop up and it even has a lightning alarm that I know works. I'm not sure what else I need in an app.

You live at the airport?

Don't need a weather app to know which way the wind blows

My Radar may lack some features but I find it loads and operates faster than others. Can zoom in/out and get wider of views of rain/storms and it loads the changes fast. Free too. Can get more options if you pay but I never pay for apps. Ads are not intrusive either. One on the bottom but not in the way. None that pop up either. Just a good quick site.

wX app. It is more than you will ever need.

I use weather.gov
Not sure if it's more accurate than Weather.com or Weather Bug, but the site isn't nearly as spammy.

If I'm working outside or boating I use the MyRadar app on my phone.
You can configure it to spot when rain, lightening, and changing winds are headed your way.
For longer-range forecasts I use Accuweather but it's not reliable.

Accuweather had been teasing me with a rain forecast this entire time
