Star Wars is a fantasy....purely because of "the force." Without that piece, it would be sci-fi and not fantasy.
However, Star Wars is amazing and the inclusion of the reason behind the force in more detail does not detract from the plot or the movie...it adds to it. Jar Jar is an annoying POS that glues together episode one, but could have been done with a less shithead character.

B/c by your way of thinking, star trek originally was pure fantasy. Lasers and telecoms the size of compacts were the things of dreams.

Those were both plausible things thus not fantasy. For Star Trek when I think fantasy the character Q comes to mind.
God sci-fi, there's plenty (need to start its own thread on it). I'm currently reading James S.A. Corey's latest Expanse book which is great. Alastair Reynolds. John Scalzi. Allen Steele. Stephen Baxter. Arthur C Clark. Larry Niven/Jerry Pournelle. Andy Weir (The Martian). Etc...
