Mark Hamill and Hayden Christensen were two horrible actors who should frick and kill each other in some sort of strange sexual ritual.

I saw Rogue One and thought it was decent except for the whole kyber chrystals thing, that's yet another element added unnecessarily

Kyber crystals are not something that was just thrown in haphazardly. They extend deeper into Star Wars canon. But since you hate SW and have decided to pick a fight with the most passionate mass of humanity that could be passionate about any universe, this doesn't surprise me.

I'm a hard sci-fi guy, any element of fantasy introduced into a sci-fi book instantly turns me off, no magic or the like. I hate Star Wars and especially hate seeing it lumped into sci-fi by the media who knows nothing of real sci-fi, Star Wars is a fantasy book set in space

I agree with you here 100%. SW is more of a fantasy, western set in space.

Best username I could come up with, my name being David and that show being awesome.

If you look at my bookshelf however there are no dragons and swords and elves or any of that, but lots of spaceships.

Funny this thread is showing up now. I'm watching the force awakens. I'm not a Star Wars fan.

Without Midi-clorians we would not have the Darth Plagueious storyline of him learning how to manipulate them so we may not have Palpatine, his apprentice or Anakin storylines so definitely not that. You people do know that Midi-clorians and Khyber crystals exist in story lines outside of the movies, right?

The only thing good about the prequels was Podracing and Darth Maul.

The podracing video game was also fricking amazing.

It's canon and in previous stories but I think it wasn't officially mentioned in a book until they finally published the Plagueis book that was delayed for decades in 2012. I am probably butchering his name BTW but it is a part of other storylines over the years but I doubt you will ever see it mentioned again unless they do a Plagueis/Palpatine movie which probably isn't very likely but would be cool.

I'll call it bad sci-fi.

Now I know why you didn't post this on the Movie board. You would be cut to shreads over there by people that would run circles around you.

And I'm not talking about myself.

Why's that? Do you consider Star Trek fantasy,(which I might agree)?
