I'm about to get new irons and I'm between the Titleist AP1's and AP2's.. I'm a 10 handicap. Which ones should I go with?

I got the AP1 when I got my new ones, and I really like them. However, I wish I would have gone with the 2's for my 6-P.

I bought a set of TA1s when I started playing years ago...convinced me that golf was impossible for an adult to learn. I think they eventually helped me focus though, I still keep the P in my bag. A friend finally gave me a set of Hogan Edges he wasn't using and the game automatically became a bit easier.

If you're a 10, you're right in between those two sets. If you're serious about your game, go AP2s. If you're a weekend warrior, go AP1s.

If you honestly intend on getting better, go with the AP2's they are butter.

It must be fate because my boy, who's the pro at Covington Country Club, just told me I can get his brand new AP2's (5-PW) for $500 bucks.

That's a pretty sick deal. Then you could just get a 4 iron of ebay?

Forget both and go with the greatest irons made in the world.

But if sticking with Titleist gotta go AP2's.

Nah, I'm going to keep hitting AP1 for my 3 and 4, maybe even the 5. The little extra forgiveness is a big deal to me.

I was about to buy some AP2s
Instead, I bought my Cally Apex pros from my buddy who just didn't like them(for a very discounted price) The bastard took my money and used it to buy some new AP2s. I'm not unhappy with my purchase though.

You saying this strictly due to price?
