I would take finance first and get what would be the hardest test (to me) out of the way. Also, you'd probably be more motivated at the beginning of studying.

What kind of accounting experience do you have so far? Which accounting courses did you find the most interesting/did you do best in?

Easiest to hardest. Ill post scores just so you can get a reference point
BEC was extremely easy due to low content and the content itself was easy. 81 first try
Audit was very easy because I had been working in audit, but BEC would have been easier with no experience. 97 first try
FAR was difficult and challenging due to the amount of information, but the actual content wasnt extremely difficult. 79 first try
Tax was the hardest section for me because I dont know a fricking thing about tax. I grinded through that one on memorization. 74 first try(I wanted to end my life). 76 second attempt

Zero accounting experience. Almost a year of audit experience. I enjoyed financial, intermediate, AIS, Audit, and tax. Hated Intermediate II, Cost, and Gov.

FAR if you want the hardest one done first. BEC if you want a better chance of passing on the first try. I did BEC, AUD, REG, FAR. Wish I had reversed the order.

My strategy, that worked (past all on first try), was to take hard test at beginning of a window and then an “easier” test at the end of that same window.
I took FAR then Audit in my first window. Then took REG then BEC in my second window.
Once you practice enough, you’ll know which sections are hard for you.

Most CPAs arent "accountants" actually.
Most are in finance, audit roles, or other consulting roles. Very few people that are actual accountants have the certification from my experience. The designation is slightly a misnomer

I did FAR, REG, BEC and AUD. FAR and REG are usually said to be the hardest but for me BEC and AUD were harder because I had no real world experience in either. I would go in the order of least experience to most.
