No doubt, which is why race doesn't come into play in my assertion. There are many opportunists out there of all shapes and colors.
Gary is a typical POS that takes advantage by benefiting from others' problems. I would be interested in seeing how much financially that Gary has personally invested in these communities. And I don't consider just time as capital for Gary because he's not displacing a job or income for this time.

It reminded me of this time in high school that a parent volunteer was asking a group of girls at my school where they worked. And the 4 white girls named off boutiques or whatever. And the black girl said 'you ask a black girl what she workin with, and it's this..' and put her hands on her knees and starts basically twerking. Everyone thought it was kind of awkward but she was pretty into it.
We also had a "Today's Mom's" club for single mothers. They even got chords at graduation for membership. There was no diversity. 100% of members were the same.
I see the problems and I see them getting worse. How can we help fix it? I don't think giving buckets of money to these poor areas is the answer.
