Yea that's why the banks want us to move fast and secure the house so we can minimize vandalism.
We also have to secure the personal property people leave behind until the house actually goes through sheriff sale. After that anything left belongs to the bank and can be hauled away but contractors have gotten in serious trouble for taking stuff before that happens.
