Somewhat on topic....you are about to go under a bridge on an interstate that has a sign posted that says "15 feet", then you get to a bridge a short distance later, before there are any other on-ramps, and the sign says "16 feet"...isn't the 2nd sign redundant??
I have seen this a few times.

It may be but by law the clearance height must be posted to avoid any mishaps due to ambiguity.
