It seems crazy now but I was raised to believe that it was wrong to steal and that we had to work to make money to buy the things we wanted.

How do you plan On getting ahead in life with that kind of attitude, you were probably taught that welfare, unemployment, food stamps etc should be a temporary bridge to help someone get back in thier feet , not a way of life

The sad part is there is no outrage from us that have to pay for it(18% cost of retail goods, is to cover pilferage at one nationwide retailer).

I used to spend a lot of time in the recovery community and the amount of stories I hear about straight pilfering from Home Depot by white people amazed me. Lawn mowers seemed to be a popular choice. It seems these young thieves would walk in and steal lawnmowers and weed eaters and sell them quickly and easily. I don’t know more than that, but they sure made it sound easy.
