I like Persil and Tide but I use scent boosters for the smell. It lasts longer.

I use Gain liquid currently, but am tempted to move on.

Thats what I buy. It smells good and the scent stays.
When you're putting on your socks and undershirts, that smell is released from the stretching.

Plus my wife doesn't like the other brands.

Go buy the cheapest dishwasher detergent from Dollar Tree and compare it to Cascade. There's a big difference in soaps bruh

I have seen a good number of tests and for really dirty clothes, pretty much nothing comes close to regular Tide. For normal laundry, I buy whatever smells the best to me at the time.

According to Consumer Reports:

Tide Plus Ultra Stain Release
Recommended
Price: $0.25
Price & Shop
Tide Plus Ultra Stain Release
Liquid
HE

OVERALL SCORE
82
Add to Compare
Persil ProClean Power-Liquid 2in1
Recommended

These are the two highest rated and the rest aren't even close. None of the pods rated as high.

That said the OP wants good smells, I can't really help with that.

I can’t tell a difference between Tide and Costco’s Kirkland. That’s some good shite.
