Me: I cook, bring the dirty clothes downstairs to the laundry room and the clean clothes upstairs. I sometimes load and unload the dishwasher, I cook and occasionally do the grocery shopping. Take care of the yard and the pool. I hunt. I fish whenever I want as long as I don’t have a prior obligation. I will sometimes help the kids with homework if need be. I shuttle kids around to and from school and their extra curricular activities
My wife: same as above, except she doesn’t hunt or fish. She has her own hobbies.

1. I do most of the cooking because I am better at it. Therefore I also keep the kitchen clean.
2. We do our own laundry. That’s an agreement we came to once the kids were old enough to use the laundry.
3. I scoop cat poop and do all the yard work.
4. She mostly does floors and bathrooms.
5. I’m not swimming in poon, but I’m not deprived either. She lets me PIIHB too.

I do, only because I’m off more than my wife. I work 12 hour shifts only 3 days a week. She has a 9-5 5 days a week gig..
We also have a cleaning lady that comes in..

I had a friend that had about the same agreement with his wife. And he made good money and was a very hard worker..invested in rental houses and apartments etc...did and probably still does really well. His wife didn't go to college based on his promises....ie, she didn't need to cause he did well and she was for sex and homemaking.
I told him he was doing really well for him and his family. He responded saying he wanted to retire at 55 and travel. I said the only thing that throw him off course was a divorce, which I didn't think was anywhere close to being likely. He nervously agreed.
They got divorced last year. She got a huge chunk.

We both work full time (at the same company) so duties are fairly split down the middle but what we either enjoy or despise less than the other.
Example: I enjoy cooking, yard work and cleaning the kitchen. She cleans everything else and keeps up with bills, appointments, groceries, etc.
