Had and still have relatives in East Tennessee, so that one.

East TN is the most beautiful by far. But middle TN, Williamson County in particular, is where I've been for the past decade and I wouldn't change it for anything.

Southern Middle Tennessee

I’ll go with west TN, aka further north MS.

East Tennessee. Despite having family in Middle TN, once you get past the tourist traps of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, East Tennessee is gorgeous. Just leave me up in the mountains with the rhododendron.

Memphis is closer to Tulsa than it is Knoxville.
And there's still plenty of Tennessee east of that.

What's going on with the gerrymandering just NW of Chattanooga?

East - Central - West
East = Chattanooga + Mountains.

West Tennessee checking in.
Years ago, the welcome to Tennessee road signs referred to the 3 divisions as 'The Three States' of Tennessee.

East Tn is for boomers

Grew up in Memphis area, but I identify more with east TN. Folks out there are a little more down to earth and wholesome.
Middle TN is full of either rednecks or stuck up Nashville types IMO.

It’s Middle TN. Not Central.

I guess ET since I was born and raised there. I don’t really identify with it though. Alabama has always felt more like home.

El Paso is closer to San Diego than Houston.

Driving from Houston to El Paso is fun though

The East just because of the Smokys. Love that area for its natural beauty and drive though it every couple years. Went out west to Memphis a couple times and it was meh. Never stepped foot in the central part.
